An action sequence is made of rounds, each of which allows for all characters involved to expend 4 action points before a new round begins. These points may be expended to use character attributes, move, attack, defend or perform any other tasks that make sense for the situation.
Multiple action points can be used to perform a single task to make that task easier to accomplish. For example, a character may choose to take careful aim before firing a weapon, thus using two actions to give advantage to the shot. In this situation an additional advantage die is rolled for each additional action used to accomplish the task.
A round continues until all characters have used their allowed actions, at which point a new round begins, resetting each character’s available action points to 5. This will continue until the action sequence has been completed.
